12 artists came together to crochet and knit a kitchen and living room set for this immersive textile art show featuring a short play.

Home: a mutable thing. Often rigid— four walls, a closed box-— the site of domestic wounds. But home can also be transient— can be unraveled and reconstructed in new forms, new contexts. Moments of comfort and play emerge from collaborative acts of creation. “Sleight of Hand,” a new group exhibition opening at the Living Gallery on June 11, explores the breadth of these domestic possibilities through a range of artistic imaginaries, from fiber and installation art to performances including drag, music, drama, and film.
